Heavy overnight flooding in many areas of Leinster and the east coast is expected to have extended to north-east Ulster by this morning. In Dublin and Wicklow, where some of the worst flooding occurred, a number of streams burst their banks causing cars to be abandoned and forcing the curtailment of DART services
